SOME THINGS SHOULD EXIST. Sometimes, the husband and I start talking about things that should exist and the idea just won't go away until it's put down on paper. So today's Company that Should Exist is... (drum roll, please)...

Projectbase

Projectbase is a database of projects... clever eh? I don't know about you but for me I am constantly coming up with ideas and projects (ie this one) that I don't the time or expertise to complete. Project–Database would be like a craigslist/forum for people to post "help wanted" and "available to work" ads for non-paying projects. (Non-paying only because otherwise it's a job and you can post for jobs at a million different sites.) Project–Database would be filled with start up ideas for the sake of forwarding creative thought and innovation.

For example... I want to make project–database.

I write a blurb about the idea, what I want it to do and the end goal. I put down what I would be able to contribute; html and php coding as well as planning and project management. Then I'd say I need; a secondary coder and then eventually a web master as well an publicist/copywriter. I post this in a projects seeking help section and wait to see if anyone is willing to put in some f their free time to work on it. Or I could browse the ads of people who are available and willing to put in free time.

With a large enough assortment of people on the site a lot of ideas could be turned into reality.

Or people could just be greedy and ask for money or not want to donate time for anyone projects but their own. Then thats what a start up project is. Its and idea made tangible that may or may not pan out.
