About The Book H.X. Sin takes the great old American novel and coming of age story that we had to read in class and brings it to a place that could get it banned from schools. This is not a book most will understand and never claims to be. Layered with social satire the antagonist ponders the world around him wondering why ignorance begets ignorance he is torn between his loathing of human nature and his desire to lead mankind away from its own destruction. Yet above all else he must never give up to the pressure of other peoples beliefs and always following his own personal moral code. In his youth he drink, parties, dabble with drugs but as he grows up and looks back he begins to see a pattern to his life. If only he could under stand these cycles he might begin to understand everything. |
