"Do you like when I'm unhappy?" I ask. "You know I don't support charity organizations."

"I've been sending them a check and you get a tax deduction," Alisa says.

"Well, why don't we donate to the local police department that way I get better protection and a tax deduction?"

"Satan has a special place in his heart for you," Alisa says.

What The Book Is About

H.X. Sin has crafted a novel in an attempt challenge everything. He began by developing his own linguistic rhythm and combined it with a stylistic design in the hopes of taking books a step forward. In simple words that is what the book is about, going forward. The nameless main character fights to break free from the vicious circles of how things are done. We watch from his perspective as he gives us an interesting insight into why ignorance begets ignorance he is torn between his loathing of human nature and his desire to lead mankind away from its own destruction. Yet above all else he must never give up to the pressure of other peoples beliefs and always following his own personal moral code. Some how though his moral code turns gray when it comes to woman and sex... sometimes he just can't help himself. Watch the dance of love lost and love gained.

How The Book Came To Exist

If Kisses Were Bullets... is partly based on a true story. It took H.X. several years to complete and when he was done he knew that getting the book published would be difficult. He refused to change it to make it more "saleable" according to the big publishers.

"There are too many interconnected and tightly packed elements to change anything and besides f#*$ them"
- H.X. Sin

It took several more years and some good friends before the possibility of getting the book published came into view. Middle Muse Publishing was launched with the sole purpose of reaching out to other writers like H.X. who had written a good story but would never see their books in print due to difficult marketability.

Pick up what Middle Muse Publishing calls their flagship novel.

"Everyone has a dream of fame and fortune or love and life. They have simplistic versions of perfection in mind. Mounds of green cash that come from nowhere for no reason. The cash is always greener and on the other side is their reality.
Dreams of besting the world form-success in life that translates as success in status. Cities are built on dreams and schools teach these dreams. Everyday adulthood says that we can be whatever we want to be-astronaut or president it's all within reach. It's all there in our dreams as fears conquered.
I am the alpha dog of humanity and when I write the great American novel or win my academy award I'll scoff. I'll say my winning speech at the podium. I'll talk about how no one thought I could do it but strived and achieved.
Or will someone else say those words?
There are a million dreams in the naked society.
How many are the same as your own?
One?
Two billion?
That's an awful lot of inflation to go around.
