About the Book

This is not a book most will understand and never claims to be. There’s no good way to explain what this book is about.  The main character struggles against the aimless supervision of parents, adults, authority, expectations and the future.  He’s what some might label generation y, a twixer or a child of the baby boomer generation.  Beyond his struggles are his achievements, romance and death.  This isn’t a murder mystery but it has one.  It’s not a romance but there is some.  It’s not a coming of age story but everyone grows up. H.X. Sin has crafted a novel in an attempt challenge everything. He began by developing his own linguistic rhythm and combined it with a stylistic design in the hopes of taking books a step forward.

If Kisses Were Bullets... works its way through the history of the main character. We read from his perspective as love and life cut him short. Like the police and everyone around him we wonder if there was something in his past that could have created a brutal serial killer or was he in the wrong place at the wrong time or are his paranoid delusions real and he's being set up?

About the Author

If Kisses Were Bullets... was crafted over a six year period of time pulling parts of actual events and mixing them with fiction. When it was done H.X. knew that getting the book published would be difficult. He refused to change it to make it more "marketable" according to the big publishers. H.X has several paintings and a CD that he created for the book

With three more novels already outlined H.X. hopes that each story will rival the next in an attempt to become your new favorite author. He also hints that the answers can be found if you read them all available through Middle Muse Publishing. Middle Muse Publishing was launched with the sole purpose of reaching out to other writers like H.X. who had written a good story but would never see their books in print due to difficult marketability.

Be one of the first to pick up what Middle Muse Publishing calls their flagship novel that will set the tone for their future books.

There it was. Otherwise I am making this all up. Francis couldn't masturbate because God was watching him. Why would I create a man like that? Like any of the characters from any of my stories-my life.

Francis asks me, "You ever wonder if things will turn out for the best?"

Despite the under-funded poor quality care we were getting, Francis was becoming more lucid.

"It has to be like this," I say. "If Zack didn't scheme to get into trouble, he'd never learn his lesson in the end.
